DEVELOPMENT OF NATURAL DISASTER PREMIUMS
The amounts for natural disaster premiums are taken from reports established by the French Insurance Association up to 20166. For more recent years, these amounts are estimated on the basis of the amount of CCR premiums extrapolated from the total amount of premiums for the property insurance market. For 2017, the total amount of premiums is estimated to be € 1.64 billion, an increase of 2.5% compared to 2016.
